Vacation time!

I'm off on the road again (vacation time woop!) but first I had to go see famous people do their thing.
I attended the Global Citizen Concert with my clique (nothing fresher then my clique) in Central Park.

It was a scorcher of a day. And we were in the line for the concert walking through Central Park which felt like we were walking forever. I was getting to hot and wanted to just give up and leave the line (kiwi's aren't use to lines), but my friends made me hang in there and oh it was well worth it!
We finally made it!! There were people everywhere and the stage looked awesome! Tiesto was first up, I had a good rave (#ravingfothalawd). Then Carrie Underwood, Alecia Keys, FUN, Sting, The Roots and No Doubt who were amazing live by the way, the energy on stage was just booming! And the amazing power couple Jay Z and BEYONCÉ (ekkkkk)! My dream of seeing BeyoncĂ© live has finally become true and I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars to see her (mind you the tickets were free, bonus!). Her and Jay Z together on stage was just WOW incredibubble!!

Also Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Alba, Olivia Wilde and some Prime Ministers from around the world made an appearance. Let me just say Ryan Reynolds WOW just WOW! #whatagem

When I was waiting in line to go to the bathroom the merchandise guys started giving out free hats, so of course I got one. It was a trucker hat that said CAT on it and yeah I did wear it the whole night. I was so happy, me and my cat hat watching Jay Z and Bey #lifecomplete.

As my friends and I were walking out of Central Park amongst the crowd, we were laughing and talking then we banged into a fence and nearly fell over it. We couldn't see it because firstly it was dark and secondly it was a short fence that only came up to my knees. I mean who invents short fences anyway?! (Absolutely crazy).

I stayed at my friends house in the city so that It was easier to travel to Newark Airport. In the morning I got up, was looking through my things and realized that I didn't have my passport (not good). Thank goodness my host mum loves me because she drove all the way into Harlem to bring me my passport (oh bless her). Without it I would not of been able to make it to Florida and I would have cried!
I'm really just not the best at traveling by myself. I always forget something important, like that time I left my phone in Boston for 2 weeks (let's not reminisce). I've now gotten paranoid and have checked my bag for my wallet and my phone about 3 times today (so many sweaty moments).
Anyway I checked in great, they didn't find my knives (I mean what?!). I had to take my shoes off before security and wow between you and I, my feet smelt bad (need new socks lol)!

I'm on the plane now sitting next to the window with an old man next to me sleeping and snoring (help me!).
#iwillsurvive
Best photo I've ever taken!

I've noticed I've liked doing hashtags today they just explain things so well.

I'm nearly in Florida and il be instagramming a lot so follow me for updates on my trip krystal_liebezeit.
Or il catch ya next week!

Ridin in Style!

Kiaora my beautiful people!
Oh WOW you will never guess what I did this weekend!!
I went in a LIMO (ekkkk) but it wasn't just any limo it was a HUMMER LIMO (dream come true)!
Ever since I went to America 7years ago and saw a Hummer, I've always dreamed of riding in one with a pony in the back and now I have (apart from the pony bit)!! There were 20 girls (all Aupairs) and we drove all around Manhattan like celebrity's, waving at everyone in Time Square and Central Park with the music blasting some sick beats. We were just living the high life (for an hour lol). HEY but it was a great hour, I felt like VIP in the big NYC.
It may look like I'm in the middle of the street about to get run over by cabs, but I'm just hanging out the Limo (thank goodness I ddnt drop the phone).

The limo dropped us off in Time Square at a karaoke place so we could entertain people with our beautiful singing, well annoy people with singing very loudly and singing karaoke songs like spice girls, Wonder-wall and my milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard (well not that one, but would of been a goodie). Personally I would of liked to sing the New Zealand national anthem but unfortunately that was not in the book (very uncultural), I was quite offended.

I also got asked to be in music videos because I told someone that I can dance. This could be the start of something new people, I mean you may see me in the next Tupac music video (ha get it?! Not gonna happen).

Yesterday was one of my girls birthday and she's 12!! She grew so fast over summer it's insane. So we had waffles and ice cream in the morning (let's get fat), then at night I cooked a nice dinner and got her an ice cream cake (seriously the best).
Yes it is all ice cream with fudge on top, I want some now!!

Well I'm gonna leave you with thinking about ice cream cake. Have a great weekend!

To explicit (not really)

Good evening beautiful people! It is the first week with the kids back at school and the weather has all of a sudden gotten a little bit colder, which, it's quite nice not being sweaty all the time (gross!).
So I've been a free woman this week (some may say woman, others may say 12yr old girl stuck in a 20yr olds body). I've being able to get back into the gym AND I also started school!
I'm doing a Principles of Management class, It's quite exciting being back at school using my brain again. Although my first class was today and all we talked about was Ray Rice (football player who hit his wife. Violence is not okay people!) and also what we are learning. For example how to manage our boyfriends or girlfriends, literally the teachers words (she's quite hilarious!)
I have even got a student I.d which I was very excited about because I can get STUDENT DISCOUNTS woop woop (Student fries come at me)!
#collegestudent #hellocollegeboys #jokingmum

Anywho let me tell ya about my weekend!
Saturday was a scorcher (as in hot)! My friend and I went to the Central Park Zoo. Yes TWO zoos in TWO weekends (going animal crazy lol). This Zoo is much smaller than the Bronx Zoo but still was fun!
Wow.. okay just realized this is the only photo I took at the Zoo and it's not a good one (that is a birds bum..sorry to explicit).
Well let's move on. We then went to sit in Bryant park and chilled.. Then all of a sudden we could feel drops of rain, so my friend gets her umbrella out and I pull my chair to sit next to her so I can be under the umbrella. Next thing it starts bucketing down like crazy and everyone runs for shelter and my friend and I are just sitting their under this umbrella laughing!!
Those faces though hahaha!!

The rain stopped after 5mins of it being cray cray. So in case it was gonna rain again we headed for the public library. I've been here 7months and have not gone in it yet (terridible).
Now I was thinking that there were gonna be many books like a normal library, but let me tell ya, we walk in and there were no books to be seen. It was all just a lot of rooms with desks that you go in and study or sit and watch people (creepy) well at least that's what I did (jokes). It is a very cool library though so many rooms to explore!
Does anyone remember the movie - The Day After Tomorrow? Well this is the library it was filmed in and this is the exact window that you see the water rushing down the street. Way cool!!
Beautiful painting on the ceilings
(Rated R, don't let your kids look up).
So this is a study room where it is so so quiet no one is talking and then I decide to walk in and take a photo of this awkward room. I really wanted to break the silence but I held myself back, I just wanted to drop something that would make a really loud noise (that is not okay krystal).
After, we went into the kids section and omg they had all the old school children's books that I used to read when I was a young sheep.
 I had a blast..

Sunday, ohh I was excited because I was volunteering at Church!! I met some cool people and someone asked me if I have to take the A train to get to Australia (he was joking thank goodness). I'm so thankful that I decided to volunteer because that really is how you meet people and make friends (love life).

Last thing I got to tell ya is that I have joined the Hillsong Dance team, pretty cool (although they hardly do performances) but it will be fun to be a part of another team at church.

Crazy fun times!!

Well well well it is officially just under 4 weeks until I fly to Florida to be with the Nimmo's (ekkkk), and let me tell ya I am so excited!!! I can't wait to go to the theme parks and ride on the kiddie rides. I say kiddie rides because (confession time) I'm not much of a fan of the roller coasters. Last time I went on one yeah it was not good, let's just say people thought I was having a panic attack. BUT that was 7 years ago and I am a grown woman (haha grown, I laugh), so I'm gonna face my fear and go on some roller coasters, May wet my pants! (To much information, absolutely disgusting).

Anyway last weekend apparently it was Labour weekend, didn't know until last week. So didn't make any plans to go away, although I did go to the ZOO with a friend of mine which was GREAT because we didn't have to spend any money (I love free stuff, my family have a membership for the zoo)!

We were there for pretty much the whole day walking around looking at all the animals (because that's what you do at zoo's). You may think that I really love animals to be there for the WHOLE day but really it was because it was free (yes aupairs are poor and love free stuff).
My friend and I went on a bug carousel it was actually a lot of fun and quite hilerious (oh how I love the kids rides)! I was sitting on a ladybug, yep..grown woman.

Also here are some animals that I'm keeping as pets:
Polar bear I named him Polar Bear.
These are Zebras not horses and I named them Stripey, both of them.
Pretty butterflies that I didn't name because their were to many and they all look the same, awkward!
MONKEY!!!
Planet of the Apes... They were my favourite ones to see at the zoo.

Their were a lot of birds but we didn't go see them because to us they just aren't interesting enough and also they WILL attack you while you are running on the road (I've had experience).

Sunday I went to Church and I was wearing JEANS!! Seriously what was I thinking! I mean, it did say it was meant to rain but OH NO the sun decides to come out as soon as I get into the city. So it is disgustingly hot walking around, probably one of the hottest days out of the whole summer!

Monday (labour day), I walked into a little village called bronxville and met up with my friends for lunch. Again walking about 15mins to this village when it is 95 degrees Fahrenheit. I am sweating and gross so again not a smart move.

Tonight I was eating dinner with the kids and they both decide they want to eat a green jalopeno spicy pepper thing. So I decided to try a little bit and OMG I took the first bite and 3 seconds later my mouth is on fire, my tongue literally goes numb like I seriously couldn't talk properly for a few minutes. I had never tasted something so spicy that it has stung and hurt my mouth, I couldn't stop drinking milk (which makes it feel better) and my 15 year old goes 'oh it wasn't that bad', That BAD! I thought I was having an allergic reaction (mind you I can't handle anything spicy so that was not a smart move).

So a lot of photos this week, I hope you enjoy them and enjoy reading about my crazy fun times!

Kristie comes to town !

Kiaora my bro's, how's everyone on this fine day? Swell I hope!
It's been a glorious week! Why? Well because of my new Nikes of course, they are just Stella!!
Ahhhh, don't you just want to drool over them beautiful things!

I've had a fun but busy week sorting out the kids rooms before school starts and having their friends over to play and taking one of my kids to soccer tryouts, which she got into the team woop woop, I'm so proud of her!
(I taught her everything..)
I made a movie with Michella (11yr old) and her friend and also Jules (15yr old) joined in. Now it started off awesome, then Jules and I just got a little bit carried away, getting all hypo and doing cartwheels and saying random stuff. Apparently we ruined the movie, but I just can't help it when the diva comes out in me, I mean I like saying random stuff, is that so wrong?!

Friday came around and Kristie was coming to stay for the weekend (boomtown)! That night another New  Zealander from Christchurch came round and we went out to dinner, we had sushi (best sushi ever!!).
Then we went back to mine, watched movies and I dyed Kristie's hair which didn't come out at all (gutts).

Saturday we went into the city and walked to the Met museum, which is like 50 billion streets uptown. OMG My feet nearly died! We got there and we didn't even go because it was expensive and we didn't want to just look at paintings. So we then decided to hop on the subway to Brooklyn and go to a museum there. By this time I'm quite tired and would like to chop my feet off because they are so sore, but that wouldn't be good because I would have Stubbs and I wouldn't beable to paint my toes cause I wouldn't have toes (first world problems).
We got food first at good old Wendy's (better than McDonald's). And yes we were the only white people as Kristie pointed out (not a racist comment just an observation people).
We got to the museum and it was a suggested $12 to get in but because we are Aupairs we decided to pay $5 (some may say we are stingy but nope we are just poor).
I'm not much of a museum person but here some crazy photos.
That's Kristie in the background photo bombing and that's our new friend.
Little people yay!
I was just confused about this guy, I mean where was he going?
I thought this one looked like my brother.
Umm a mummy..

Sunday we went to Church oh it was soo good I love Church so much that we went twice, boom!

This is a random photo of us in front of a Library.

We also decided to get our eyebrows threaded and then I was walking round the city with bright red eyebrows so had to go to Macys and put makeup on because I looked hileriously awesome!

I said goodbye to Kristie and then travelled back home.
Great weekend!

Nashville BABY Nashville

Monday morning I got on a plane and headed to Nashville Tennessee baby woohoo!!
The plane ride was great. NO turbulence at all (hallelujah! Praise Jesus!). I landed and picked up my bag from the bag area (yep that thing that as a little child you always wished you could ride on.. One day people, one day it will happen).
I got picked up by my parents friend that I was staying with for the week. She has 2 kids, a 9 year old girl and a 2 year old boy and they are just seriously awesome!! They live in Franklyn where famous people live like Leonardo Dicaprio, Oprah, Nicole Kidman etc. I had so much fun hanging out with them going for walks in the morning with the mum, going to the mall, watching movies and playing games.

One day we travelled out to the Amish area which was like 1 hour drive. it was so interesting! They don't have electricity, they eat from the land, they get the kids working pretty much as soon as they can walk, it's insane. They are pretty much living in poverty, which is sad, but they choose to live like that.
Anyway so they sell things to people that come in. It's very random but I bought a yo-yo (lol). It's handmade by the Amish so I thought I'd take it as a souvenir (although I may have lost it.. hmmm). It's insane, they travel in horse and carriage everywhere. I always wished that I lived in a world where people rode horses everywhere instead of driving cars, hmm maybe I should become Amish? Haha don't be silly, I would die!!
I had to take sneaky photos because they don't like it, but this is how they live.

I also met another nanny that lived next door. She took me to Church with her and it really reminded me of home. There were so many young people and the worship was so good !!
The pastors were Australian and I had recognized them, so I texted my Dad and asked if He knew Henry and Alex seale (I have no idea if that's how you spell their last name, but oh well), of course Dad knew them. They used to work at Planetshakers church (CRAZY, such a small world!). After church I said hello to them and mentioned my Dad and other people and He was like 'noway that's insane, yeah I know them'. Who would of thought you would meet someone IN Nashville that knows people that you know (cray cray!).
Then me and some people went and got ice cream. Then they took me to this sign that is apparently famous which says 'I believe in Nashville'.

I fell in love with the family I was staying with, they were so welcoming and really made me feel apart of the family. I was sad to leave them but I know that I will definitely be back in Nashville again!!

Peace out yo and love life!

Phone went traveling!

Hello hello don't worry I am alive! My phone just decided to stay in Boston for a few weeks so I have not been able to blog that's okay though because I have a great story!

It started a few weeks ago where I decided to go to Boston for the weekend to hangout with my friend Kristie, who had been in the country for about a week doing the same thing as I do (not herding sheep, guys.. Nannying). So I hopped on the train from Rhode Island and travelled to Boston where I would stop at a train station and Kristie would pick me up. It was about 12am, I got off the train and was waiting for my friend to come get me. Because it was midnight, the station was very empty, everything was closed and I was just sitting with my cheetah print suitcase looking all homeless and stuff (good times!). Then I got a call from Kristie asking where I am, I'm like 'I'm sitting by the entrance, are you here?' She goes 'yea I'm here but your not'. Now this is when I realize 'OH SNAP' I got off at the WRONG train station and it's NOW 1am in the morning and I'm in BOSTON!!!! So I had to catch a cab to Kristies house which was 40mins away and costed a heck of a lot of money, cray cray!!
Finally got there about 2am in the morning, so tired.

On Saturday Kristie and I went into the city, did some shopping and had brunch. We both ordered French toast. Now this was not French Toast it was more like a donut! It reminded me of when you go to the Fish & Chip store and order a deep fried Moro bar.. Yep that's exactly what it was. So good but so bad!!
(Random statue, probably important).

We were walking down the street and found these people who were busking and jumping over people so we watched that for a bit until they wanted money so we ran (well not ran, we walked away.. fast).
When we got back to her house we had some food, talked about life and twerked... Yep!

On Sunday we headed to the mall for more shopping because you can never do to much (holla!). We spent most of our time in Mac trying on dark lipstick (such fun)!
For lunch we headed to the rainforest restaurant. You walk in and there's monkeys, elephants, birds, massive fish tanks and it looks exactly like a rainforest. We were probably the only Adults without children there but who cares we loved it!!!

After all the shopping we caught a cab, went to Church then met up with another New Zealander and had dinner.
The violinist was awesome!!

Monday morning it was time to leave, so Kristie dropped me off at the train station, we said goodbye and I was looking in my bags for my phone to get my train ticket out, I couldn't see my phone so I checked again, still no phone! That is when I started freaking out! I couldn't contact Kristie to tell her, I couldn't contact anyone. It was one of those horrible sweaty moments (yum).
I went up to the ticket people nearly in tears and asked if they can print my ticket out. I then told them that I left my phone in Boston and that my  phone is literally my life ( oh gosh that's sad.. they must have thought I was crazy). No but seriously it is my only way of communicating with my family and friends back home and I didn't know any of my host families numbers of by heart so they wouldn't know when to pick me up. So if you were in this situation yeah you would be freaking out to!

When I hopped on the train I asked the train conductor if there were computers on the train I was so desperate to try and contact my friend. Of course there are no computers on the train (so silly)!

I got to Rhode Island and decided that I would walk to the Library because they have computers and hopefully my host family will be there also. I walked in, looked around no computers free and no family so I then went to the second floor and right there was one of my kids I was so happy I yelled 'Michella! I'm so happy y'all are here' (forgetting I'm in a library, got told off for talking to loud, woops). I got onto Facebook and saw that Kristie had messaged me about my phone. I gave her the post office address so she could send it up to Me. Friday came around so I rang the post office to ask if my package had arrived and no it hadn't. Then it was Saturday and so I rang again and still it hadn't showed. I thought that was weird so I decided to go down to the post office and ask. And OMG they decided that they would send it all the way back to Boston because apparently it didn't have the right address (oh it did)! Now I'm even more frustrated! My phone didn't arrive in Boston until Wednesday so I told my friend just to send it to New York because I was going back for the weekend. So 2 weeks later and I finally get my phone back! Oh yess it felt like Christmas except nothing had changed with my phone, I mean it was still a 4s, it would of been nice if someone slipped in a 5s that really would have been the cherry on top!

Anyway that was a long story. My life just gets more interesting! Now I'm headed to Nashville so let's hope I don't leave anything behind. I hope to ride a horse and get famous in a week.
So talk to you homies later, have a great life!
