Merry EASTER!

FLUFFY DUCKS!

Did I get your attention? I hope so! By the way that had nothing to do with my blog, I just wanted to SHOUT fluffy ducks because it's random!

Last weekend, my good friend all the way from New Zealand came to hangout with me for the weekend (like actual just the weekend, cray cray!). Well, He didn't come all that way just for the weekend (that would of been silly). He was just a few hours away from NYC working for the week, and made the best decision He will ever make (lol) to come to the Big Apple (by the way knowone says the big apple).
So as you all know it was Easter, Merry Easter everyone or Happy Easter (whichever one you prefer). My Family left on the Friday for their Vacation and I was ready to hit up the city for the weekend with the one and only Hadleigh (friend from New Zealand). We met up, went shopping, I tripped up a lot, embarrassed Him, it was a good time!!
That night we got all dressed all fancy and made our way to this amazing restaurant that was 48 floors high. It was called The View because you can see all of NYC, and slowly the whole floor rotates so you have a different view every time, it was incredibubble!
(The view from the restaurant).

Now I'm not used to going into fancy restaurants, so the whole time I'm trying to act fancy (that worked well 😜). I was laughing, and trying not to be loud, then I was waving my carrots around when I was talking, and my friend goes to me 'stop waving your carrots round' (best statement). Let me tell ya it was a HOOT! Such a great experience!

Saturday was full of adventure! We went to the sea, space and air museum which is pritty much a lot of old school planes and spaceships on an aircraft (apparently it's really famous). For a girl it was actually quite cool, although I would of liked to sit in the planes and imagine that I'm flying and make loud plane noises (mostly cause I want to embarrass my friend).
This is a plane I believe...
This one was my favourite though (can't remember what it is, apparently it's famous?)
This is the first space shuttle. It's huge! gutts I couldn't go inside.
Oh yess I finally found something I could sit on and play, it was such fun!
This was on top of the Aircraft. As you can see it is massive and this is only half of the ship, so many planes!

And..
Oh there it is!!
This is a super yacht that I was more interested in just staring at for long periods of time, then looking round the museum. It was so SHINY! It WILL be mine one day (lol keep dreaming).

We were very hungry so we decided to leave the museum and go get a hot dog (which was gross). We hopped on a water taxi which was so much fun to see New York from the water. So PRETTY!
We tried to go to the 9/11 memorial which we couldn't get in because it was packed (kinda sucked), but we walked around it and could see abit of it.
This is the 9/11 building it is really pretty.

We then got back onto the water taxi and it took us round to see Statue of Liberty and then back to the start.
We were exhausted after all the walking and site seeing and tripping over that it was time to rest!

I said goodbye to Hadleigh and I went to Hillsong's Easter Service.
All in all it was a great weekend! It was very strange to be hanging out IN New York with a friend FROM New Zealand (couldn't quite get my head round that).

Keep loving life!

I ❤️ NYC

Best weekend ever people! It was Friday night and I was feeling alright (lol so cheesy). My friend and I headed to the city for some hardcore dancing! We had our tickets, our twerk pants on and we were ready to get jiggy (Sorry not sorry).
The night that I thought was gonna be easy breezy turned out to be a ball of frustration. So you had to have tickets to get into the club and we all had ours except you have to print tickets out which I did but my two friends did not and they had guest passes, which means you had to get into the club before 12am!
We only got into town by 11pm which meant we had an hour. So we walked to the club all excited and ready to dance. Except they wouldn't let my friends in unless they print off the tickets. So now it's about 11.15pm, we walked down the road to a Walgreens (kinda like a supermarket) and asked if they had a printer, they said no. So we hurried to Duane reade (another small supermarket) and yes they had a place where you can print photos (yesss). The person that was helping us, got the right leads for my friends phones and the tickets were uploaded on the machine everything was going perfect, we could get to the club before 12am no problem. It was now 11.45. We went to the counter and the guy went to print off the tickets and of course the system just HAD to crash, so he said 'sorry guys but we can't print off your tickets' (are you SERIOUS!!) we just wasted half an hour and they couldn't print (just terrible). We ran back to Walgreens and asked them if they had computers that print off photos and yes they did. So we ran upstairs, went to the computers and they were all turned off (oh come on people!). It literally took 15mins for them to turn on and they were the slowest computers ever (frustrating much). It was past 12 now which meant we probably would not beable to get in. But we were determined to at least try! So we walked confidently (as you do) up to the club guys and explained what happened and OH MY GOSH we finally got in!! We danced all night until about 4am (I know shocking but that's very normal for New Yorkers) where we decided to leave, until we got to our train and it was out of service (awesome). So we had to take a very long detour home which meant I got home very late (arghh).

The Saturday me and my friends went to Americas Got Talent Auditions. Oh my gosh it was so exciting and a lot of fun! And no I did not audition but if I did I would of twerked as my talent, which I would of been booed of the stage cause I'm that good!! (By the way someone did twerk as their talent, best thing EVER!).

Oh yea by the way we got free tickets and were in the second row right behind the judges, which meant we were on camera the whole time (say WHAT?!) come out in June so make sure you watch and spot me lel. It was very exhausting because we had to always be smiling, couldnt talk, clapping, booing and if someone stood up then we all had to stand up. 3 and a half hours long doing all that with no break and my friends and I didn't have lunch so we were starving!! (We silly)
Mel B and her child everyone!

It's always a good time!
