Vacation time!

I'm off on the road again (vacation time woop!) but first I had to go see famous people do their thing.
I attended the Global Citizen Concert with my clique (nothing fresher then my clique) in Central Park.

It was a scorcher of a day. And we were in the line for the concert walking through Central Park which felt like we were walking forever. I was getting to hot and wanted to just give up and leave the line (kiwi's aren't use to lines), but my friends made me hang in there and oh it was well worth it!
We finally made it!! There were people everywhere and the stage looked awesome! Tiesto was first up, I had a good rave (#ravingfothalawd). Then Carrie Underwood, Alecia Keys, FUN, Sting, The Roots and No Doubt who were amazing live by the way, the energy on stage was just booming! And the amazing power couple Jay Z and BEYONCÉ (ekkkkk)! My dream of seeing BeyoncĂ© live has finally become true and I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars to see her (mind you the tickets were free, bonus!). Her and Jay Z together on stage was just WOW incredibubble!!

Also Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Alba, Olivia Wilde and some Prime Ministers from around the world made an appearance. Let me just say Ryan Reynolds WOW just WOW! #whatagem

When I was waiting in line to go to the bathroom the merchandise guys started giving out free hats, so of course I got one. It was a trucker hat that said CAT on it and yeah I did wear it the whole night. I was so happy, me and my cat hat watching Jay Z and Bey #lifecomplete.

As my friends and I were walking out of Central Park amongst the crowd, we were laughing and talking then we banged into a fence and nearly fell over it. We couldn't see it because firstly it was dark and secondly it was a short fence that only came up to my knees. I mean who invents short fences anyway?! (Absolutely crazy).

I stayed at my friends house in the city so that It was easier to travel to Newark Airport. In the morning I got up, was looking through my things and realized that I didn't have my passport (not good). Thank goodness my host mum loves me because she drove all the way into Harlem to bring me my passport (oh bless her). Without it I would not of been able to make it to Florida and I would have cried!
I'm really just not the best at traveling by myself. I always forget something important, like that time I left my phone in Boston for 2 weeks (let's not reminisce). I've now gotten paranoid and have checked my bag for my wallet and my phone about 3 times today (so many sweaty moments).
Anyway I checked in great, they didn't find my knives (I mean what?!). I had to take my shoes off before security and wow between you and I, my feet smelt bad (need new socks lol)!

I'm on the plane now sitting next to the window with an old man next to me sleeping and snoring (help me!).

Ridin in Style!

Kiaora my beautiful people!
Oh WOW you will never guess what I did this weekend!!
I went in a LIMO (ekkkk) but it wasn't just any limo it was a HUMMER LIMO (dream come true)!
Ever since I went to America 7years ago and saw a Hummer, I've always dreamed of riding in one with a pony in the back and now I have (apart from the pony bit)!! There were 20 girls (all Aupairs) and we drove all around Manhattan like celebrity's, waving at everyone in Time Square and Central Park with the music blasting some sick beats. We were just living the high life (for an hour lol). HEY but it was a great hour, I felt like VIP in the big NYC.
It may look like I'm in the middle of the street about to get run over by cabs, but I'm just hanging out the Limo (thank goodness I ddnt drop the phone).

The limo dropped us off in Time Square at a karaoke place so we could entertain people with our beautiful singing, well annoy people with singing very loudly and singing karaoke songs like spice girls, Wonder-wall and my milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard (well not that one, but would of been a goodie). Personally I would of liked to sing the New Zealand national anthem but unfortunately that was not in the book (very uncultural), I was quite offended.

I also got asked to be in music videos because I told someone that I can dance. This could be the start of something new people, I mean you may see me in the next Tupac music video (ha get it?! Not gonna happen).

Yesterday was one of my girls birthday and she's 12!! She grew so fast over summer it's insane. So we had waffles and ice cream in the morning (let's get fat), then at night I cooked a nice dinner and got her an ice cream cake (seriously the best).
Yes it is all ice cream with fudge on top, I want some now!!

Well I'm gonna leave you with thinking about ice cream cake. Have a great weekend!

To explicit (not really)

Good evening beautiful people! It is the first week with the kids back at school and the weather has all of a sudden gotten a little bit colder, which, it's quite nice not being sweaty all the time (gross!).
So I've been a free woman this week (some may say woman, others may say 12yr old girl stuck in a 20yr olds body). I've being able to get back into the gym AND I also started school!
I'm doing a Principles of Management class, It's quite exciting being back at school using my brain again. Although my first class was today and all we talked about was Ray Rice (football player who hit his wife. Violence is not okay people!) and also what we are learning. For example how to manage our boyfriends or girlfriends, literally the teachers words (she's quite hilarious!)
I have even got a student I.d which I was very excited about because I can get STUDENT DISCOUNTS woop woop (Student fries come at me)!

Anywho let me tell ya about my weekend!
Saturday was a scorcher (as in hot)! My friend and I went to the Central Park Zoo. Yes TWO zoos in TWO weekends (going animal crazy lol). This Zoo is much smaller than the Bronx Zoo but still was fun!
Wow.. okay just realized this is the only photo I took at the Zoo and it's not a good one (that is a birds bum..sorry to explicit).
Well let's move on. We then went to sit in Bryant park and chilled.. Then all of a sudden we could feel drops of rain, so my friend gets her umbrella out and I pull my chair to sit next to her so I can be under the umbrella. Next thing it starts bucketing down like crazy and everyone runs for shelter and my friend and I are just sitting their under this umbrella laughing!!
Those faces though hahaha!!

The rain stopped after 5mins of it being cray cray. So in case it was gonna rain again we headed for the public library. I've been here 7months and have not gone in it yet (terridible).
Now I was thinking that there were gonna be many books like a normal library, but let me tell ya, we walk in and there were no books to be seen. It was all just a lot of rooms with desks that you go in and study or sit and watch people (creepy) well at least that's what I did (jokes). It is a very cool library though so many rooms to explore!
Does anyone remember the movie - The Day After Tomorrow? Well this is the library it was filmed in and this is the exact window that you see the water rushing down the street. Way cool!!
Beautiful painting on the ceilings
(Rated R, don't let your kids look up).
So this is a study room where it is so so quiet no one is talking and then I decide to walk in and take a photo of this awkward room. I really wanted to break the silence but I held myself back, I just wanted to drop something that would make a really loud noise (that is not okay krystal).
After, we went into the kids section and omg they had all the old school children's books that I used to read when I was a young sheep.
 I had a blast..

Sunday, ohh I was excited because I was volunteering at Church!! I met some cool people and someone asked me if I have to take the A train to get to Australia (he was joking thank goodness). I'm so thankful that I decided to volunteer because that really is how you meet people and make friends (love life).

Last thing I got to tell ya is that I have joined the Hillsong Dance team, pretty cool (although they hardly do performances) but it will be fun to be a part of another team at church.

Crazy fun times!!

Well well well it is officially just under 4 weeks until I fly to Florida to be with the Nimmo's (ekkkk), and let me tell ya I am so excited!!! I can't wait to go to the theme parks and ride on the kiddie rides. I say kiddie rides because (confession time) I'm not much of a fan of the roller coasters. Last time I went on one yeah it was not good, let's just say people thought I was having a panic attack. BUT that was 7 years ago and I am a grown woman (haha grown, I laugh), so I'm gonna face my fear and go on some roller coasters, May wet my pants! (To much information, absolutely disgusting).

Anyway last weekend apparently it was Labour weekend, didn't know until last week. So didn't make any plans to go away, although I did go to the ZOO with a friend of mine which was GREAT because we didn't have to spend any money (I love free stuff, my family have a membership for the zoo)!

We were there for pretty much the whole day walking around looking at all the animals (because that's what you do at zoo's). You may think that I really love animals to be there for the WHOLE day but really it was because it was free (yes aupairs are poor and love free stuff).
My friend and I went on a bug carousel it was actually a lot of fun and quite hilerious (oh how I love the kids rides)! I was sitting on a ladybug, yep..grown woman.

Also here are some animals that I'm keeping as pets:
Polar bear I named him Polar Bear.
These are Zebras not horses and I named them Stripey, both of them.
Pretty butterflies that I didn't name because their were to many and they all look the same, awkward!
MONKEY!!!
Planet of the Apes... They were my favourite ones to see at the zoo.

Their were a lot of birds but we didn't go see them because to us they just aren't interesting enough and also they WILL attack you while you are running on the road (I've had experience).

Sunday I went to Church and I was wearing JEANS!! Seriously what was I thinking! I mean, it did say it was meant to rain but OH NO the sun decides to come out as soon as I get into the city. So it is disgustingly hot walking around, probably one of the hottest days out of the whole summer!

Monday (labour day), I walked into a little village called bronxville and met up with my friends for lunch. Again walking about 15mins to this village when it is 95 degrees Fahrenheit. I am sweating and gross so again not a smart move.

Tonight I was eating dinner with the kids and they both decide they want to eat a green jalopeno spicy pepper thing. So I decided to try a little bit and OMG I took the first bite and 3 seconds later my mouth is on fire, my tongue literally goes numb like I seriously couldn't talk properly for a few minutes. I had never tasted something so spicy that it has stung and hurt my mouth, I couldn't stop drinking milk (which makes it feel better) and my 15 year old goes 'oh it wasn't that bad', That BAD! I thought I was having an allergic reaction (mind you I can't handle anything spicy so that was not a smart move).

So a lot of photos this week, I hope you enjoy them and enjoy reading about my crazy fun times!
